1974's Not Fragile is the third album by Bachman-Turner Overdrive. The album marked a slight change in direction as the band's already heavy sound turned more directly toward metal. Thunderous bass and drums, strong vocals and howling dual-guitar solos by Randy Bachman and Blair Thornton are prominently featured on many of the tracks.

From the opening chords of "Not Fragile" to the jazz stylings of "Rock Is My Life" to the pounding C.F. Turner hit track "Roll On Down The Highway" this album is packed with gems including Randy Bachman's famous stuttering-vocals on the #1 hit "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet." The riffs on this album are heavy and plentiful, bristling with raw, chomping guitar power. Other cuts had significant airplay on FM rock radio and most of the material on Not Fragile are the band's classic rock anthems.
